What better way to warm up and stay cozy in the midst of winter than with chocolates, cocoa, glowing candles, and a chance to support a local business and great cause! We'll be sampling chocolates, sipping homemade hot cocoa and joining Stacie, owner of Ludington based House & Harbor, as she leads a candle making class here at the inn on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
Saturday afternoon from 2-4PM, you'll begin by developing your own custom scent, then create and pour your own artisan soy candle. All product is 100% natural soy and features a safe, non-toxic paper cotton wick. You'll go home with a beautiful scented memory and the peace of knowing that a portion of the proceeds from the class will be donated to local tea shop, HumaniTea, to support their fight against human trafficking.
While you wait for your candle to cure, shop the House & Harbor collection from the comfort of the inn. Relax in front of the fireplace while you sample handmade chocolates, fresh baked goods, and cocoa! In addition to the chocolate goodies at the event, guests will take-home a dozen chocolates as well as a Lamplighter B&B handcrafted coffee mug.
The cost for this experience is $55/person, in addition to the cost of your room/suite. Book direct here, and select the "Chocolate & Candles Winter Package" or call us to reserve your place for this event.
Please note this event is exclusive to guests of the Lamplighter Bed & Breakfast, and is limited to eight (8) people to ensure compliance with current social distancing guidelines.
