What better way to get in the Holiday spirit than with cookies, glowing candles, and a chance to support a local business and great cause! We'll be sampling cookies, sipping warm holiday spiced beverages and joining Stacie, owner of Ludington based House & Harbor, as she leads a candle making class here at the inn on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
Saturday afternoon from 2-4PM, you'll begin by developing your own custom scent, then create and pour your own artisan soy candle. All product is 100% natural soy and features a safe, non-toxic paper cotton wick. You'll go home with a beautiful scented memory and the peace of knowing that a portion of the proceeds from the class will be donated to local tea shop, HumaniTea, to support their fight against human trafficking.
While you wait for your candle to cure, shop the House & Harbor collection from the comfort of the inn. Relax in front of the fireplace while you sample fresh baked goods, and collect a take-home box of homemade Holiday cookies or candies, all baked and created in the Lamplighter kitchen. Five varieties and a total of 25 cookies (per person) will be yours to take home!
The cost for this experience is $55/person, in addition to the cost of your room/suite. Book direct here, and select the "Cookies & Candles Holiday Package" or call us to reserve your place for this event.
Please note this event is exclusive to guests of the Lamplighter Bed & Breakfast, and is limited to eight (8) people to ensure compliance with current social distancing guidelines.
