Around The Inn

Whether you’re joining us for a single night or a week-long getaway, we want you to settle in and truly relax. Our common spaces are designed for lingering—from the library, where you can lose yourself in a book from one of our leather wingback chairs, to the parlor, where the fireplace provides a cozy backdrop for reading, cards, puzzles, or conversation.

We also know that even on vacation, the "real world" sometimes needs a moment of your time. If you need a quiet spot for a call or a virtual meeting without disturbing your traveling companion, the library is yours. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to close the pocket doors so you can have the space to yourself for an hour or two.

As soon as the Michigan weather allows, the heart of the inn moves outdoors. Breakfast is served on the deck and patio, and you’ll often find guests lingering over coffee in the gazebo well into the morning. These spots are favorites for afternoon naps or catching up after a day of exploring. During the cooler Fall and early Winter months, our wool lap blankets and gazebo heater keep things perfectly cozy.
