Whether you’re staying one night or a week, we want you to feel comfortable and at peace in your surroundings! Browse our collection of books – or catch up on your reading list - while relaxing in one of the leather wingbacks or the overstuffed couch in the library. Traveling with friends or family? Enjoy your time together as you chat, read, play cards, or put together a puzzle by the parlor fireplace. 

If you’re working remotely or vacationing but need to stay on top of things at the office, and don’t want to disturb your traveling companion, you’re welcome to take calls or attend a virtual team meeting in the library. Let us know in advance and we’ll be happy to close the pocket doors and convert the space into your remote office for an hour or two.

As soon as the weather allows, breakfast is served on the deck and patio! These spaces, as well as the gazebo, are where you’ll find many of our guests lingering over coffee, catching up after a day of exploring, reading, and even catching a nap! During the cooler Fall and early Winter months, wool lap blankets and an outdoor heater in the gazebo make the space extra cozy.
